The story takes place circa 1970 at an American military base in Japan, where vampires go on the rampage. Gianna portrays Saya, a 400-year-old half-human, half-vampire samurai who looks like a Japanese teenager. She drinks bottled blood and has swordfights with the vampires. Saya tries to protect the American general’s daughter, particularly against the evil Onigen.
